I’ve been thinking so much about Auntie Linda and the incredible woman she was. I will never forget how she took me in when I was a teenager and things were hard. She didn't just give me a place to stay; she gave me a safe place to be myself.

She was always so approachable—the kind of person you could talk to about anything without feeling judged. I’ll always hold onto the memories of her in kitchen, the way she loved her family so fiercely, and, of course, those legendary crispy roast potatoes that no one else could ever quite match.

She was a pillar for me when I needed one most, and I feel so lucky to have been loved by her. Sending you all so much love.

May Linda rest in perfect peace

Dearest aunty Linda, you were such a wonderful and kind aunty to have known. Had fond memories when I was a child when you and the family came visiting my mum and the two of us are our home. You were a great caring and kind lady to your kids and family. You be sadly missed by all who knew you. You are up above with nanny, grandad, Eamon, Veronica and the rest of the people who we all lost in the past. Look down on everyone who knew you and watch them. You will always be in our hearts. My prayers and thoughts go to your kids, grandkids and great grandkids.

Dear Linda,
I miss you every day.
For 4 years you were such a big part of my life.

We walked those dogs nearly every morning, you loved being out in nature, whenever I am in a park I will think of you.

You were really there for me when no one else was. You had such a beautiful soul, full of joy and wonder, when you spoke it was powerful, you were so wise, peaceful, caring and kind.
I want to say Thank you. I will never forget you.

Linda was completely dedicated to family, so proud of each and every one of them, she loved to share photos of their time together. I can only hope she is reunited with family once more.

My heart goes out to Thomas and the entire Mooney family at this heartbreaking time 🙏

Linda, it’s so hard to say goodbye. You weren’t just my sister, but my lifelong friend. I’ll always treasure the memories we made together—raising our families side by side, the laughter and tears we shared, and all the adventures with the kids and Dad and the dogs running around. I’ll miss our visits, our chats. Our last trip to Sherwood Forest to see our cousins after so long is something I’ll hold in my heart forever.

Aunty Linda, I have so many fond memories of staying at your house as a child, packed in with all the cousins, laughter and fun through the rooms. All the adventures with Grandad and the dogs will always make me smile. I’ll never forget how you’d come to visit me in Essex, or our fun nights at The George playing Bingo together with my Mammy and rest of Aunties. Our last trip to Sherwood Forest will always be close to my heart. Aunty Linda you were such a real fighter right to the end, and you’ll be forever missed by everyone. Rest in peace, Aunty Linda. Thanks for all the wonderful memories, and please continue to look down on my Mammy she has lost a part of her when you left this world.
