To all the Lynch family, so sorry to hear the news of Linda’s passing. May she rest in peace.

I only knew Linda from meeting her in Santry park. A bright start to the day was meeting her out walking with a huge pack of dogs. The dogs were all different breeds and various sizes and with their tongues hanging out and happy faces on they would bound and bounce around the park keeping up with Linda who walked around at a fairly brisk pace!

Most of the dogs were off the lead yet they obediently stayed close to her not letting Linda out of their sight as they clearly adored her and were living their best lives on their walks. The fact they all belonged to neighbours or friends was the best part, she did it because she loved them and enjoyed her walks.

Linda's beautiful smile and sunny disposition gave no indication that she was dealing with anything other than the dogs in her charge, so when I learned of her death in recent days I was genuinely upset to hear it. She was a wonderful sight to behold and a constant for me all these years while walking or cycling through the park in the mornings. It's fitting that there will be a walk in Linda's memory on March 15th at 9am and I hope to attend too.

So from someone who hardly knew her I want to extend my deepfelt condolences to all her family and friends, the world was a better place for having Linda in it and I hope the happy memories you have will bring you some solace in the times ahead.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Linda. Linda was such a generous person with her time and energy. Always willing to help when in need. A true angel now. Rest in peace Linda.
