My heartfelt condolences to Lindy’s loved ones. She was pure joy.

I met Lindy during my time with the JET Programme. She was so kind and had a way of making everyone feel welcomed. She was the kind of person that easily connected with everyone. Lindy was there for some of my favourite memories in Japan. We climbed Mount Fuji together, camped in Okinawa, played ultimate frisbee, and had some lovely days spent in Kyoto. I am grateful for these memories and our time spent together.

RIP Lindy. She is loved all over the world.

It was with great sadness when I heard about dear Lindys passing. I remember the first day she came to us before the school year started. I knew Lindy from UCD Engineering and was shocked and saddened to hear of her passing. I remember Lindy always arrived to UCD early in the morning, reading her latest book, with a huge smile. She was so much fun and will be greatly missed.

Lindy was a one of a kind.
She had such a spark, joy, and verve for life. She really lived and sucked the marrow out of life as Thoreau said. She was a great friend and the absolute life of any party. A truly lovely soul. I feel very grateful to have known her.
