Liosa wasn’t just a second cousin once removed. She was sunshine on the gloomiest day. Nothing beat a chance encounter with Liosa, decked in block colour, a giant smile and a “my Breff”, Liosa was the person I hoped to see at every celebration happy or sad.
Liosa had the most amazing way of knowing just when to message, remembering every detail of your life and making sure she told the world. She was stronger than anyone I know, lived every second of her life and was a constant point of inspiration . Everyday I try to “Live life like Liosa” because a life lived like Liosa, is a life fully lived. Love you forever Liosa, can’t wait for another hug and a big cry together again x

Ken belated sympathy on the passing of Liosa.

Liosa you’ll always be missed, your bravery in the face of the pain you felt was humbling and every time I met you over the last few months you were smiling. The girls insisted that they give us our wedding present when I went to see you in the house and emphasised that you’d wanted us to have it at the earliest possible opportunity. Whenever we look at that picture we’ll remember you!

P.S Mum turned up to the house in bright yellow, I guess she just knew ;-)
