I was so very sorry to hear about Lisa, such a lovely bright person, full of good humour and warmth. I remember her well growing up on the road, she is a huge loss to all that knew her. So sorry to hear a about Lisa passing- she was a truly beautiful girl. I had the greatest pleasure of spending time with her and Barry’s wedding.. she looked amazing was so happy! She spoke about her 2 children so much. She was so proud of them. What struck me much about Lisa was her positivity- she never complained once about her journey.. rest in peace and heaven got themselves a true angel.

Only love for this beautiful lady. Lisa was the sweetest and bravest person I knew. She was a mama bear in the kindest sense. I never heard a mom gush so much over her children. It was never Gavin or Megan but rather “my Gavin and my Megan.” The way she always spoke about her children, her mom, and her family came from a place of deep love and affection. Lisa wanted her children to dream the impossible and find their passion in life.

I think back to the many conversations we had over the past months. With the time difference between Ireland and the United States, Lisa would text me late at night. I would tell her to go to sleep because I was concerned she was overexerting herself. We would be having such a laugh and at times I didn’t want to let her go. Lisa had such an infectious personality that it came out in her writing. Often I’d find myself crying with tears from laughter.

I am grateful for Lisa and the deeply profound love she had for my brother Robert, me, and my family. Lisa will never be truly gone as we will carry her legacy in our hearts forever. Rest in Peace Lisa. ❤️
