Sincere condolences to Liz's family. I knew Liz thorugh her involvement in a community employment scheme im her role in the DSP. Liz was always helpful, polite and went over and above to answer any queries. I am very sorry to hear of her passing. She was a wonderful person. May she rest in peace.

Words feel inadequate, Liz was my colleague, mentor and most importantly my friend. She had the gift of slowing you down if one was stressed out, saying sit down now, it will all be grand, and it always was. I will miss her ‘hello missus’ greeting when I rang her or met Liz in the office. She will be sorely missed by all who loved her, and never forgotten. Rest in Peace now missus, your work is done, and you will remain always in our hearts.

I remember her calling down to Reception counter in DSP to sort out pension contributions and years of service for a customer who had been on a CE Scheme a few years earlier and was due to retire.
