Liz was one of the first people I met around town when I got back into singing. She was a force, but a gentle and thoughtful one. She had an opinion, and wasn't afraid to share it. She was also a great listener and encourager. She'd talk to anyone, and knew how to cheer them up. When I played at the Rathcormac Market at Christmas 18' she gave me a lift up and down and we had some good chats. I could tell how much she cared about people. Including strangers. And that left a lasting impression on me. I'll think of you Liz when I'm out singing. Rest in peace. Shane Benjamin

My thoughts are with the Kilcullen, Mc Dermott & Wallace families. Liz spent endless time working as an activist on local & national issues. Back in the days of Banks Drive both myself & Agnes got to know Liz when she moved in with her family & manys a cup of tea we shared together. I will miss you Liz.
