Michael, Deirdre and Owen - We are all so sorry to hear the sad news that my cousin Liz has passed away. Liz was such a lovely person who I first got to know when we were children, before she went to South Africa and on her return as a teenager when she stayed with our family for a short while. We have kept in touch over the years and I recall some happy meetings when she was in England and when Trevor & I visited Liz & Gerry during a holiday in Ireland. Liz has also helped me compile a family tree of our mutual Taylor family with interesting information about her Father, my Uncle.
I know that Liz will be sorely missed by all her family and friends and send our sympathy to you all

Very sorry to hear of Liz’s passing. I have very fond memories of Mrs O’Dowd’s playschool. Making bubble shapes and yogurt were highlights as well as the sense of care, safety and fun. My condolences to Owen, Deirdre and Michael and her many friends and extended family.

I never heard her say a bad word about anyone! She will be sorely missed. But be comforted by the fact that she has reunited with her beloved Gerry and they are probably laughing and sailing the heavenly seas together in a vessel both of them longed to sail on their beloved Lough Derg. Always interested in everyone, she was so proud of you all and especially her wonderful 2 girls in France! Sincere sympathy on you mothers death. I remember Elizabeth and your Dad Gerry as such a happy couple on the lake, with their barge moored at Goat Island for many a summer. Happy days!

Knew Liz to see and some years ago joined Trinity Leasure Center and Liz became a buddy. Chats and laughs in the changing room each morning and sometimes a coffee before heading to work.
