Liza was a very independent, strong minded young woman and a great BHS Stage 4 Instructor and Rider all those years ago. Following her horrific car accident and despite the obstacles thrown at her she showed great courage and determination to compete with 'Fantastic Elastic' at International Para Equestrian Competitions. Heartfelt condolences to Marcus, Jo, Sam and Jacob on the loss of your beloved Sister and Aunt Liza. A truly stoic and positive inspiration to all, she was a gifted horsewoman who loved her farm and found her integral place of belonging. One summers evening at sunset I told her my forever picture of Liza will be running free with her horses in the beauty and stillness of the vista of her land, run free now Liza and farewell my dear friend. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam uasal.
Sincere sympathy to her brother Marcus, nephews Sam & Jacob on Liza’s passing. I will be forever grateful for having been given the opportunity to compete on her horse Butty. She was a very special lady with many talents. Rest in Peace Liza.

Lisa will never be forgotten by those you knew and loved her. Talented, fun, sometimes wild, and, above all, resilient and strong in the face of diversity. May she be at peace.
Liza, it was a true honour and privilege to have known you, become your friend, carer and student. You have inspired me in so many ways over the years, showing that with determination, vision and heart that anything is possible. Who else could have carved out a farm, stables, home, arena and sanctuary from scratch in Parkmore. You taught me so many valuable life lessons that I still value and apply today - fierce independence, self-reliance, being a self starter, doing it yourself, creativity, kindness, ingenuity, self acceptance, not accepting limitations and true unbridled warmth, love and joy. I am in awe of you and all you achieved. You endured endless challenges with grace and grit. Thank you for being a wonderful teacher and friend. The world is a little less bright without your presence and warmth. I hope you are at peace now, reunited with your beloved Butty. All my love, Ellie x
Liza was an exceptional person who had an undying curiosity for people and life: From gardening, nature, horses and fashion to kombucha and conversation. She always found words of encouragement and was an inspiration in how she herself lived and loved life. Liza, a friend, whom we will miss terribly but whose memory we will hold forever dear. Our sympathies to Marcus, Jo, Sam, and Jacob.
So sorry for your loss of Liza - she will be sadly missed in Parkmore by everyone
Sincere condolences to all . Liza was an inspiration, and one who had the ability to turn adversity into renewed life. May she rest in peace.
Liza was a shining light in our neighbourhood and an inspiration to all who met her. She had great time for our girls and their shared interest in horses. Sending our deepest condolences to Marcus and family at this sad time. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
Liza turned adversity into learning opportunities. She had amazing courage and strength which she used whenever life threw another hurdle at her. She had a passion for the natural world and her place in it. Her first love was her horses and her second love was her farm in Moneystown. She has made this a very special place for nature and her presence will always be there. She was an extraordinary person and it was a privilege to have known her. Deepest sympathies to her brother and two nephews.
So very sad and sorry to hear of Lizas passing.
An amazing woman who planted 100's of trees. No matter how bad a day she was having , she just got on with it. She just wanted to keep planting trees and caring for her animals. Thinking of all her family and friends during this difficult time. May Liza Rest in Peace in the Garden of Heaven. Nicolette, Arie Snr and Arie Jnr and all the staff at Van der Wels.
