‘The Cake Shop’ was such a part of Rathangan. I was thinking during the funeral mass how Lizzie would probably have the shop stocked with her lovely cakes and bread by eight or nine o’clock on a Saturday morning when the shop was open. When I see coffee slices I think I always think of her.
