Our sincere sympathy to Billy, Simon, Marcus, Katrina and all the Doyle family on the unexpected death of Lorcan.
We shared many happy memories, particularly when all our children were young, when Lorcan was always a generous and courteous host at home in Arklow.
In later years Lorcan, my late Dad Ossie Senior and myself formed a ten year trio in the East Stand of Landsdowne Road. We celebrated both the occasional great win and lots of mundane losses with equal gusto in the Apres Match pubs. Great days!

Oh that wonderful smile and a wonderful human, God Lord and Mother Mary, take him into your gentle arms and keep this precious man in your love eternally.

It is with profound sadness that I write this, if ever there was an absolute gentleman, Lorcan was one.  A gentle and caring person, so proud of his family.  Many happy memories of meeting him in Glasson and Hodson Bay Golf Clubs in Athlone where, he spent weekends playing his beloved golf.  Always lovely to chat with, to share family history and moments of pure fun, joy and laughter.  May the Lord God look after his loved ones now in their time of deep sorrow.  To his children, Billy, Simon, Marcus and Katrina and to Margot please accept our sincere condolences, to his grandchildren Calvin, Ella, Millie and William you were and are loved and cherished by your dear Grandad , please know that he loved you all beyond any words that I can express, hold him in your hearts for he held each and every one of you in his heart. I have fond memories of Lorcan from Woodfab where I got my first job. I remember Lorcan as a kind and patient colleague with a sharp and very funny sense of humour. He was lovely company and an excellent mentor.
