My sincere condolences to Claire, Christine and Michael as well as to all the McMahon family, Ronan, Claire, Niamh, Ciaran and Conor on the passing of our beautiful Lorcan. I still can’t get my head around the fact that Lorcan is no longer with us. He was such a kind, generous and thoughtful person. There was never a dull moment when Lorcan was around. His funeral spoke about the man he was, a great husband and dad, and how he contributed to so much to the community, especially the GAA. He will be forever missed.

I only heard about Lorcan's passing today and am deeply shocked that we should lose him at such a young age. Sincere condolences to Claire and Christine and Michael and to the family I have known all my life, Ronan, Claire, Niamh, Ciaran and Conor. I am terribly sorry for your loss and wish you comfort and peace of mind at such a difficult time. My thoughts are with you all. Lorcan was the biggest, boldest, and nicest man anyone could ever hope to meet.

He was such a gentle giant, such fond memories of him with the Blessington GAA girls team growing up, he was my first coach and we all enjoyed training and matches with him in our corner. We were so sorry not to be able to attend Lorcan's funeral due to being abroad but we have just soaked in every thoughtful and heartfelt word of his beautiful funeral, online.
We only knew Lorcan, Claire, Christine and Michael through our friendship with Ronan, Cathy and family, but true to form, as Christine and Michael referenced in their magnificent joint eulogy, he always greeted us, by name, like old friends and followed up on something that he knew was going on for us.
We learnt a lot more about Lorcan, during his funeral and how much he gave to others and to many community groups. Clearly we could all learn a lot from Lorcan about how to live a good life, as Christine and Michael have, from both of their wonderful parents.

We are so sorry to hear of Lorcan's passing. Lorcan was a gentleman in his role as a supervisor steward in Croke Park - always calm and friendly. We know how much being in Croke Park meant to him and he was much loved by the stewards he gave induction training to. We will miss his presence along the Hogan Stand. My deepest condolences to Claire, Christine, Michael and the McMahon family on the sad passing of Lorcan. Lorcan was an exemplary person, a very kind and caring man who made people feel readily at ease in his presence. He was a huge supporter and advocate for Blessington GAA Club, whether it was coaching, participating on the committee, being involved in the bingo, giving advice or just lending a hand when needed, he always did it with a smile on his face, GAA was truly in his veins. He was well loved in Croke Park where he taught many a young steward over the years also. He was a great Community Advocate for Blessington and was involved in many committees in the town, from the Junior School to the Blessington & District Forum. Our Club & the wider community of Blessington is all the poorer for his passing, he will be remembered fondly by us all. Lorcan, thank you for all you have done, May you Rest In Peace.
