Lorna was beautiful inside and out, a wonderful colleague in DIT, truly professional, hard working and extremely kind. It was always a pleasure to be in her company.

I was so sorry to hear the news of Lorna's passing. I worked with Lorna in Aungier Street for many years. She was kind, compassionate, caring, and would always take the time to ask how everyone was doing. An absolute Lady who will be missed by all who knew her.

In her career Lorna was totally unassuming but hugely capable and she taught so much to so many management and academic colleagues down the years. And her advice and guidance was always delivered with tact and charm and kindness.
Above all, working with Lorna was great fun - her perpetual good humour was accompanied always by a twinkle of gentle mischief. She was a dear friend who will be missed by so many.

Deepest sympathies to Colm, Aisling and Family. Lorna managed the complex ins and outs of our lives in DIT/TU Dublin when academics tried to sort the finances, usually with little success. But Lorna kept us honest, afloat and up to speed with what we had to do. The books certainly don't balance today; the loss is immeasurable, too early and we are all in a great debt to her in the widest sense
