I’m so sorry to hear of Louie’s passing and only heard today. What a wonderful lady and a great friend of my mums. Rest in peace Louie you will be missed on the coast road. I always thought summer has started when you arrived down.
Paul, Mary Lou, Declan and John. We only heard yesterday about Louie’s sad passing. So so sorry to lose her as a lovely warm always friendly neighbour in Myrtelville. Our deepest sympathy to you all and the entire family.
My sincere condolences to the Field family. So sorry to hear of the passing of Louie. I'll always remember her fun spirit. A kind, gentle and good humoured lady. She also had a lot of patience welcoming me through the house as a youngster to fetch the football that had gone over the wall for the umpteenth time any given week. May she rest in peace. X

My sympathies to the Field and Lannin families at this sad time. Fond memories of her warmth and welcomes in Myrtleville and a fun filled visit to Sydney in the eighties.
RIP LOUIE
Thinking of you all with all my love.
Louie was just such an amazing woman, a powerful lady who was so gentle and kind.
Always all knowing and all seeing with compassion and clarity. A fabulous humour, always a soft twinkle in her eyes. She loved you all so much and you were her proud world.
She gave you all such a wonderful life and nurtured you with such love and wisdom.
She will be so missed I know but never forgotten.
I’ll be with you virtually and I’m sorry not to be with you all to celebrate her life.
All my love, Avril
Excerpt from ‘When Great Trees Fall’ by Maya Angelou
Great souls die and our reality, bound to them, takes leave of us. Our souls, dependent upon their nurture, now shrink, wizened. Our minds, formed and informed by their radiance, fall away.
And when great souls die, after a period peace blooms, slowly and always irregularly. Spaces fill with a kind of soothing electric vibration. Our senses, restored, never to be the same, whisper to us. They existed. They existed. We can be. Be and be better. For they existed.
Thinking of you all with all my love.

To Paul Marylou John and Declan so very sorry to hear about your lovely Mum. I saw her bravely go in for a swim during the summer in Fountainstown, what a woman !! We sat for a while and had a lovely chat. She is with the rest of the Fun Brigade now somewhere nice with a G&T. Please accept my sincere condolences and hopefuly in time your sadness will be replaced by only the wonderful memories you have of your Mum which I am sure are many.
