I met you a couple of times over the years at the Christmas markets (Sage and Stone)… Your Mum and I trained together at Hammersmith Hospital… she was always smiling! Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of the beautiful Louise.

She was, without doubt, one of the nicest people I ever had the privilege of knowing and calling my friend. A truly dedicated nurse, I met Louise through our work at RCNU, where she consistently went above and beyond for everyone in her care. She was an absolute gem, with a rare ability to lift anyone’s spirits, no matter the situation. She was great fun.

Louise was also a very good friend to me. She was so delighted when my twins arrived — my little snow babies — and she loved seeing photos of them and hearing about their progress. That genuine interest continued with the arrival of their younger brother too. Her kindness was simply who she was. She loved seeing and hearing all about them right up to the present.

She also was so proud of you Holly, and loved you with all her heart. Your mum and dad will be watching over you forever. My heart aches for you at this very sad time.

When my sister, my only sibling passed in June 2021, Louise was there for me when I needed support most, and that meant more than words can say.

An amazing person in every sense, I have cried as many tears since her passing as there has been rainfall of late.

She is now reunited with Jim in that land high above the blue skies.

May God bless your gentle and kind soul, Louise, you were one in a million.

Louise was more than just a colleague to so many of us — she was a friend, a mother, a steady presence, and genuinely one of the best nurses I’ve ever known. She had that perfect mix of skill, compassion, and warmth that made people feel safe the moment she walked into the room. She cared not only for her patients, but for the people she worked with too, and that kindness won’t be forgotten.

I can only imagine how hard this must be for you. Please know you’re in my thoughts, and I’m sending you so much love and strength right now.

Louise was a beautiful lady inside and out, a wonderful friend who could console and lift your spirits in the matter of minutes. We first met Louise on Christmas Eve morning in Hanoi, Vietnam as we all began our wonderful adventure. We shared laughs, stories and tears that day and it continued over the years since. The laughs out of Louise when we were practicing navigating our baby buggies in the hotel corridor, bus trip to Halong bay with our beloved husbands, both since departed. Louise was a rock to us after our beloved Tony passed away because having only lost Jim a year before she understood.
