I have very fond memories of growing up with Fergus on Abbey Street. The Marshalls were our next-door neighbours and the "Abbey Street gang" got up to various shenanigans during our early years.

We always enjoyed meeting up with Fergus and June on our trips home from Canada. Fergus was a gentleman through and through.

Fergus and family loved Derrynane so it was the best place to exit this world. Helen and and family shared many holidays there with the Fergus & Co. We also had a memorable South African holiday with June and Fergus and sailed together - so we both have precious memories of both of them.

A beautiful gentleman and he knew me all my life but I only know him for some of his.
When I met Fergus with his Golden oldies crew he was always interesting to talk to and always had a story to tell. He always walked tall... My mum and dad will miss him dearly. Hold onto the fond memories which will eventually will create a smile and fill you with pride having had such a great Dad/Grandad/father in law/friend as Fergus was.
