My sincere sympathy to Lucie’s nieces and nephews on her recent death. The Duffy girls were well known and respected by everyone on Belmont Avenue where we grew up. I was particularly friendly with her sister Pat but often met up with Moyna who like her mother played golf in Elm Park and their father was a member of the original Elm Park men’s committee and served as secretary to the committee. For this reason there is a great photo of him in Elm Park GC. There is also a letter in the History &Archives display cabinets signed PJ Duffy. I had the pleasure of entertaining Lucie in Elm Park recently and showed her the photo of her Dad and the letter written by him. May she RIP
