I made friends with Lucy via our mothers when we were teenagers. She had a wealth of humour, energy, joy and a list for life. I will always remember her for that. I had the joy of being her date for her debs many years ago and I'll remember that event and the many other fun times we shared over those years.

I met Lucy in our house years ago as a bubbly and vivacious 16 year old. She was (I can’t believe I’m writing ‘was’) great fun and we loved her company and that of her Mum Susan, a very good friend of my mother’s. Lucy has gone long before her time and we are deeply saddened to hear of her death. Condolences to all of her loved ones, including her two little sons, husband, Mum Susan and her sister Kate. May Lucy rest in peace.
