Sister Geneviève
I would like to offer you my most heartfelt sympathies on the recent loss of your sister Lucy.
I sympathise with you on behalf of my late mother Marie Mooney and my late Dad., Jim Monaghan .
One of my last memories of Aunt Lucy was carrying out her duties of temporal works of mercy, visiting my Dad after a big hip operation in the Caritas convalescent centre, and having a lovely chat.
I hope that I will continue to fly the Faith Flag in her honour and will have mass celebrated with The Dominican order in Nice and Fatima.
Que l’âme de notre Chère Lucy repose dans la paix du Christ Ressuscité, Alléluia.

Lucy was a true friend to my mother, Marie Clinton, when they were in secondary school together. Lucy was bridesmaid in my parents wedding in 1956..and then in 1957 became my Godmother. Both are now reunited in heaven. May Mary rest in peace. Chris Clinton, Dublin Ohio

Lucy was a loyal and true friend to my mother, Barbara Stewart, and, by extension, to myself and my siblings. What a privilege to have been in the company of such a kind, intelligent and empathic person. I am truly saddened to hear of Lucy's passing, and I extend my sympathies to her family.
Condolences to Sr. Genevieve on the loss of her sister, Lucy.
Lucy was a huge inspiration to us as a colleague and friend in the Visiting Teacher service. Retirement only ushered in a new, and even richer, phase in our shared friendship, as we formed a group of five that would continue to meet up regularly in the years that followed.
It is impossible to do justice in words to Lucy’s personality. She was intelligent, compassionate, authentic, socially concerned and—perhaps most important of all—deeply spiritual. Always terrific company, she leaves us with cherished memories of many, many lovely times spent together, including the delightful picnic in her beautiful garden during the easing of Covid restrictions.
Lucy’s last illness was very difficult for her, but she endured it with grace and dignity, never once losing the self-directing ethos that was so much a part of her character.
The death--one week before Lucy’s--of Maire, another woman in our group, came as a profound shock to us all, Lucy included. We take consolation in the knowledge that these two dear friends are in heaven together.

Lucy was a beloved friend of the Stewart family. A loyal friend to the late Barbara and an honorary aunt to Ruth, Andrew and Patricia . She will be remembered with great fondness by us all.
Heartfelt sympathies to Sister Genevieve as Lucy has now entered eternal life.
We shared being Minister of the Word at the 9am mass in St Peters Church from about 1980 to the mid 1990’s.
Lucy lived her life with respect and devotion to her faith. She certainly ‘’ Fought the good fight, finished the race and kept the Faith ‘’
In more recent times it was always a pleasure to meet and chat at the gate of her home or at the supermarket. Many happy memories.
May Lucy rest now in Heavenly peace in her Eternal Home.

Sister Genevieve, my deepest sympathies on the passing of Lucy. I had known her all my life through a family member and always enjoyed meeting up with her for a cup of tea and a conversation on the rare occasions time allowed. I had last received a text from her back in January and it is with regret that I had not spoken to her since that time. It is very sad to hear of her passing.
Myself and my colleagues of dalys pharmacy cabra are very sorry to hear of the passing of the lovely Lucy. Thinking of Lucy's family and friends at this sad time 🙏❤️
Sister Genevieve, please accept my prayers and sympathy on the death of your dear sister, Lucy. I remember her as a gracious lady who was so interested in the world around her. Lucy was a friend of my Aunt Ena.
My sympathy to you, Sr Genevieve, on the loss of Lucy. It was always a great joy to meet her and I admired her energy, her wit and her faith. May she rest in peace and be raised in the glory of the Resurrection.
