I was very saddened to read of the death of Luke.
He was an old friend of mine, since our time together in UCD of the fifties. We kept in touch. He always called to our home in Limerick, while on his way to and from Kerry
when he was on one of his climbing expeditions. My wife, Patricia, and I will miss him. May the Good Lord grant him happiness and peace, and console his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
