Luke MCMAHON

I am so sorry to learn of your loss. I knew Luke from his time at LIT/TUS and he was an exceptional student. He had a real gift for academic work and was consistently at the top of his class in the social care work programme. In addition, he was kind and a pleasure to teach. Luke was truly a gentleman and a scholar and he will be missed terribly.

I’m so deeply sorry for your loss. I had the privilege of knowing Luke first as a student and later as a colleague, and he was always incredibly kind and supportive. He helped me so much with my portfolio when I was starting out, and when I joined the team he made me feel welcome straight away.

He was genuinely lovely to chat with — patient, encouraging, and full of quiet warmth.
I’m grateful I got the chance to know him, even for a short time.

I had the privilege of teaching Luke when he was a student in TUS and recognised his brilliant academic ability early on. He was always professional and kind in class and showed a strong commitment to social care work. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

I was shocked by the passing of Luke. He was my practice educator when I was on college placement at Brother Russell and he was a brilliant teacher and support to me and helped me enjoy my time there. He was very helpful in giving me a reference for my J1 in New York and I’m very grateful for his kindness and support. RIP 💗

I was deeply saddened to hear of Luke’s passing. I had the pleasure of working with him, and he was always a true gentleman, supportive, kind, and genuinely caring. He went out of his way to help others and had a gentle warmth that made everyone feel at ease. These are things I will never forget.
