I saw the crowds of people around the church this morning before realising that it was your beautiful boy's funeral. It is such a heart-breaking loss and I hope that you all, devastated family and friends, will find a way to live with the pain and the joy of having your memories of him.
From all that I have heard, from people that knew him, he was much-loved, popular and kind young man and a son to be proud of. The crowds that turned up, for his untimely funeral today, is a testament to that. I wish you the very best for the future and the ability to pick up the pieces in this extremely difficult and different place that you find yourself in. I cannot imagine the pain. May Luke rest in peace.
