Agnes I was so very sorry to hear the sad news of Luke's passing, may he rest in peace. I have very happy memories of our times at Betty's Thursday night set dancing class. Thinking of you at this sad and difficult time.

Luke was a lovely man . He was my first sergeant in An Garda Siochana. He had a gentle way about him but got the work done. So sad to hear of his passing.

My sincere sympathy to Agnes and all the Padden and Moran families on the death of Luke. While I never met him, I have great memories of watching him and Sergeant Terry Brady presenting Garda Patrol. Luke and Terry were always impeccably turned out and created a great image of An Garda Siochana in their dress and the way in which they presented the programme about fifty five years ago. Luke and Terry had a great influence on me. I joined An Garda in 1972 and I had a great career retiring in my 40th year. Thinking of you all at this very sad time. May Luke rest in peace.
