Eamonn, Oscar, Ruby and Nicole, Laura and the rest of the Doyle/ Foley family, it was my great privilege to have known Lydia. We spent many hours working, laughing and planning our lives. She was a joy to be around. I feel very lucky to have been able to know her and call my friend. My deepest condolences, may her beautiful soul rest in peace.

I have some great memories of you Lydia when we were kids. All the times we use to stay in each other’s houses for weeks on end. I remember we use to fight over your boot skates and your Mam use to shout out the window at us to stop fighting over them. I remember you and I jumping off your bed on to Laura’s bed and we would keep it up until your Mam told us off. I have so many other memories of us that would make you laugh and I wish I had the chance to tell you them now.
I’m so sorry your life was cut short.
