Lynn was a wonderful director and actor and the driving force behind Taney Drama Society. Such fond memories of her and Percy.

I was very saddened to hear of Lynn’s death. She was a driving force behind Taney Drama Society for many years. She encouraged many of us in all aspects of drama and always worked to get the best out of us and put on the best production while still being open to hearing others views. With Percy, they were some team- on stage, back stage and off stage.
A particular highlight for me was Lynn directing us to reaching the All Ireland One Act finals in Ballyshannon. That was some weekend!
I had hoped to be at the funeral but will be joining online. All the family will be in my thoughts and prayers in the coming days and in the quieter times ahead.
Lynn was one great lady.

To Caroline John & Stuart sincere condolences on your dear mum’s passing. We had so many happy years with her & Percy playing cards, Christmas parties/walks etc. great memories!! Will be sadly missed but not forgotten.

So sorry to learn of Lynns passing. Many a chat we had when travelling to work on the 44 bus into the city centre. She and Percy were stallworths of Balally Residents Association and with orhers arranged Santas visit around the estate each Christmas Eve. The children were really excited to see Santa pass by and receive their selection boxes. Neighbours gathered outside too and had a chance to meet each other and have a pre Christmas catch up and meet newcomers too. Knew Lynn also as she directed /helped at many Taney Drama Society productions.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Lynns family Caroline, John, Robbie and extended family at this sad time.

Sincere condolences to all of Lynn’s family and friends. Lynn was an active member and supporter of the Residents Association for many years and only stepped down when she had some health challenges. She will be missed by so many in the area. May she rest in peace.

To the Pennefather, sincere sympathies to you all at this time on your recent loss. Thinking of you all.

Lynn has been my dear friend since our schooldays, and what a good friend she was.I have many fond memories of our teenage and early adult years ,lots of adventures and fun together.
Lynn was always kind , supportive and helpful. She was an enormous help when I was sorting out my mums house and welcomed me as a guest in her home when I was in Dublin.
I will miss her always,good friends like her are hard to find.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Lynn. May she Rest In Peace.

Honest, forthright, intelligent, Lynn believed in community involvement, a tremendous worker, a superb director of many dramas for TDS, empathetic, an excellent writer. She was witty and was one of the very good people you’d meet in life.
