Our Sincere Sympathy.
Thank you Maeve for so many years of happy memories.
Every now and again over the years I would think of Maeve and all of the people who have walked through her doors. In the last few days it has been more so and every memory brings a smile to my face; from the plays to the weekly improvisations to the miming, to walking with a book on your head - so many activities! I always looked forward to going to drama wondering what exciting new task your mom would have in store for us that night. Looking back I can see how much she helped me develop and grow.
And as some have said it was like having another family - it truly was. Your mom brought the best out in people and she was encouraging and she always had a knowing grin.
It's people like Maeve who have had such a positive impact on so many lives and although I unfortunately am unable to say my goodbyes tomorrow I'm sure the congregation will be testament to your mother and her greatness.
Thank you Maeve for more than you know. Rest in peace.

"Now there are some things we all know, but we don't take'm out and look at'm very often. We all know that something is eternal. And it ain't houses and it ain't names, and it ain't earth, and it ain't even the stars… everybody knows in their bones that something is eternal, and that something has to do with human beings. All the greatest people ever lived have been telling us that for five thousand years and yet you'd be surprised how people are always losing hold of it. There's something way down deep that's eternal about every human being."
Thank you for everything.
Thank you for everything.
Colin, Jan & Thomas, I have the fondest memories of Maeve and she played such an important role in my life. I remember every play, song, poem, book she introduced me to with the greatest fondness. I hope the happy memories you have of your Mam will help you through this difficult time.
Colin, Jan & Thomas, my deepest condolences to you all. Words aren't enough for Maeve, she was one special and inspirational woman. Maeve gave us all another family. Rest in peace Maeve....I'm sure there's a 12 out of 10 standing ovation waiting for you. Xx
