Sincere condolences to Mick, Sarah & all the family. I met Maeve for the 1st time at her 21st in Foxford. A bunch of us drove down from Dublin. It wasnt a wild weekend, it was hilarious. We met many, many times around Galway since. We always stopped to talk. Maeve always had a smile & a laugh. She will be missed.

Shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Maeve I had the pleasure of seeking her council on many occasions in her role in the Galway Chamber of Commerce. Although a proud Mayo woman she was an integral part of the growth and development of Galway City over the years.
