So very shocked and sad to hear this news this morning as had lost touch with Maeve since our school days. I’m glad to read that she was very loved and had a beautiful family to share her life with though time too short. My condolences to you all, may Maeve rest in peace 🙏

Heartbroken to hear of the passing of our dear and loyal colleague Maeve, a volunteer with the Clare branch of Irish Guide Dogs for the blind for many years, who will be dearly missed. On behalf of the Clare branch of Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind may we offer our deepest sympathy and sadness to hear of Maeve’s passing. She was one of the first volunteers of the branch and gave so much to the charity. She was one of the best puppy raisers and gave so much dedication and love to doing it. She herself was instrumental in helping to raise massive funds for the charity through her hard work and love for it. We all owe her a massive thank you for what she achieved and we sincerely hope we can all follow in her footsteps with her unfailing loyalty to the charity.
