We were very sad to hear of the passing of your Mam. Auntie Mai was like a 2nd Mam to us. She and our Mam were great friends and neighbours, helping each other through good times and bad. We all have special memories of our Auntie Mai. May she rest in peace.

Mai was a beautiful woman and she left this world a better place because of who she was. She will be so missed, but she left us 6 amazing women and many wonderful memories.

Linda,Carol,Oonagh,Aine,Orla,Sinead and Podge I am so sorry to hear of Mai’s passing ,she was a true lady always friendly and glamorous,I remember her hospitality particularly during election times when Eddie would make sure the troops were fed and watered after canvassing,Mai also worked behind the scenes during elections but always remained in the background.It has been my privilege to have know Mai and the extended Mc Carthy family,in fact the friendship between the Reilly and Mc Carthy families go back to 1900 approx.
