Desmond, Vicent, Ted - My sincerest condolences on the passing of Mai, I was hoping to be there but I am afraid plans changed and I could not make it. May she rest in peace.

On behalf of the Davey family I'd like to send my sincere Condolences to my good friend, Desmond and his brother Vincent and father Ted Ward and all of Mai's family and friend's.
Mai was a right character and I had many good chats on the phone with her over the years. R.I.P Mai X
I know this is a very difficult time for you all, particularly you Desmond, I know you was very close to your mum. I'll always be here to support you in whatever way I can, God Bless You All.

Its me again ( Desmond ) Mom, this is where dates are important in your life, and will not be forgotten. you were born on the 6-10-1933, and left us on the 19-10-22,33 &22, you died on the 19-10-22 and you came to England at the age of 19, & you met dad in 1957 and were married together for 57 years, but you knew each other for 65 years, and got married in 1965, again 57 & 65, so the important dates are 06-10-33/19-10-22, 1957 & 1965, and you were 19 and you died on the 19-10-22, you were 19 when you came to England and 70 years here. Oh god Mom, why did you have to leave us, I was with you till the very end in whipp's X hospital, I held your hand and tried my best to look after your in your last 12 hours of your life, but it was not to be and we all lost you on that very sad day, we are all broken, here in your lovely home, I have taken it very badly indeed mom, as me you you mom were very close, I loved looking after you, in the last 11 years since your 1st heart attack, and you were always in my thoughts mom, and still are now, at this sad time for me,we all loved you mom, and we all still do, we will never forget you mom, and you did live to see Vincent reach his 50th birthday and you your self reached 89 years old. from your loving son, Desmond,& vincent & dad RI P dear mom,& bless you mom.xxx

I was sorry to read that Mai died and my sincere sympathy to Essie, Ted and family. Over the years, I often met Mai at Anne and Donal’s house and family celebrations. The Purcell family were always dear friends and I send them my love and prayers.
