Still trying to find words on what to best write here. My heartful condolences to Karen & Maikel's family, and to everyone who feels this big loss. I was very touched with the funeral service. I am sure he would have liked it. It was wonderful to see how everyone joined in with memories and wishes. His death comes way to early. Another reminder for us all how precious this one life is, that we have. You are in my thoughts.

Dear Karen
We are so sorry for your loss. I am lost for words and can only agree with those of John O'Donohoe that Maikel will now dwell in the safe place in your hearts and in the rhythm of your breath.
To Maikel's mother and father, Frank and Yvonne, and to his sister Mandy, and as one who has prematurely lost a sibling, can I offer my Condolences also.

I could not believe what I read.
I worked with Maikel in one of the biggest insurance customers in Germany. His passion and professionalism was significant.
We even hosted our customer in Munich together. He even showed us the place he lives in Irland with mountains surrounded.
I am wishing lots of power to his loved ones.
Maikel, I hope you have a relaxed sleep with all your family and friends loving you here.

Zo bedroefd ben ik met het verlies van mijn Maikeltje! Jij groeide op met mijn kinderen en wat was je een innemend persoon! Wat een prachtige vrouw heb je nog kunnen trouwen, Karen heb ik in mijn hart gesloten evenals haar zus Linda! Heel veel sterkte wens ik iedereen! Wij zullen hem altijd in ons hart meedragen!

I was working with Maikel in a joint project. His positive attitude and ambition to overcome every issue found impressed me and our customers. Beside that it was always nice to chat about life and everything.
He will be missed.

While this is a sad time, I smile when I remember Maikel sarcasm, being ironic and his elegant humour when we spoke at work. He always came full of energy and always stepping forward to make a question, break the ice on a conversation or facilitate something. If he was on a meeting you knew you would have at least 1 question. And remembering all that makes me smile, great memories. Sending you condolences but also sending you a thank you for having shared Maikel's time with us. He will be remembered!

It’s such a loss to miss someone so special! Maikel is one of the most thoughtful people I know. Even though he lived in Ireland for several years. Every year with birthdays, he would call. Or after the birth of my babies. We are going to miss him so much. He fought with the power of 300 people. I’m so proud to call maikel my friend! Karen, you are one of a million. You’ve done so great. Power woman! 🤗❤️

I only knew Maikel professionally and yet he left a deep impact. He was always passionate about his customers, he loved complex projects and, his joyful personality ensured that he had great success in building relationships, helping people beyond what they thought possible. He was energetic about life and that showed in his love of gaming, hiking, music, trying different cuisine and, his love of travel. He always approached the world with curiosity, humour and a smile. I will miss him. My deepest condolences to you all.

Dear Karen, I was so sad to learn about the passing of your lovely Maikel. I hope that somehow you will be alright and get through this. The Jewish tradition has this lovely expression,”may his memory be forever a blessing to you” and I really hope that the memories of all the times you had together with Maikel will be just that, something you will have forever. We will keep Maikel and dear Stella too and most especially you, dear Karen, in our thoughts and our prayers, I promise. May he rest in peace. And condolences too to his family and to yours 💐 Xxx Gavin, Madeleine and the children, especially Sébastien and Matthieu.
