Very sorry to hear of the passing of Marie. She was always a lovely lady. We have very fond memories of her kindness to us during our many visits to her home when we were kids.

Máirín, I’m so sad to learn that you have gone to your eternal rest. We came to live in Truskey about the same time and you were always there as a great friend and neighbour - our many chats and always ready to help. Go dtuga Dia slán abhaile thú go dí Ríocht na bhflaitheas.

So sad to learn of Máirín’s passing. As children she was our second mom as we were always walking to the shop and mass with her. She was never caught unprepared as she always had a supply of sweets at hand. Such a kind and gentle person to us all, a great neighbour and loved her cattle and dog. I met Mary every day for many weeks when she was beside my Mum in UHG last year. We always had the loveliest time with her .. Always smiling and chatting, sharing chocolate and jellies with her. She was so kind to my Mum and updated us everyday on how my mother had rested overnight. She had a huge impact on us all .. her kindness and stories. My deepest condolences to you all ..
