Deirdre and Eamonn, thank you for the lovely service honouring your Mum. I have so many memories of Maire and Jimmy as they were so much a part of my parents' lives. All those evenings spent sharing stories - and food of course. So much laughter! Maire was a wonderful and kind friend to my parents - I can picture her sitting in the kitchen having a cup of tea and a chat having dropped in on her way home from town. And always willing to lend a hand making the tea and doing the wash-up. No dishwashers in Raheny! Rest easy Maire.

So sorry to learn of Maire’s passing. I always looked forward to her coming to get her hair done every week as we would have great chats and a laugh.
A very wise and wonderful lady.

Sincere condolences on the passing of your dear Mam Maire. It was a pleasure to have know her. So good humoured and generous she would arrive so often having baked a fruit cake to share with everyone in the Parish Centre with a cup of tea.

Lots of fond memories of her visits with my Mam Pat and all the lovely lunches they enjoyed in The Country Club, insisting on good service and white tablecloths! Only the best - for the best from the west! Never knew a woman better able for a days shopping in Dublin City Department Stores! A great baker too!
