My sincerest condolences to Padraig and Fidelma on hearing of your Mum's passing. A huge loss to you all. I remember meeting her at our home in Freshford prior to her marrying our Uncle Pat, who was our favourite uncle. We were all so pleased when he brought Maire to visit that 1st time. She was such a lovely kind lady, we knew they'd be so right for each other. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Fidelma and Pádraig, So sorry to hear of the death of your lovely mum Máire. I remember well the first time our Uncle Pat brought her to our house to introduce her to our family .She had such a lovely smile and a gentle nature. They were both so fortunate to have met each other . Such a huge loss to you and all your extended family. May she rest in peace.

It was with great sadness we heard of Maire s death only this week. My sincere sympathy to Padraig Fidelma and all her extended family. She was a lovely homely kind person and. always made us feel so welcome whenever we were invited to visit. We always came away well fed there was lots of variety of her terrific cooking and baking. Uncle Pat and herself made a wonderful couple.
Shes now gone to join him and will be complete again. Rest in peace Maire with all our love and prayers 🙏

due to the distance apart that we lived but on the occasions when we did meet my memories are of a sweet, gentle, lovely lady. She’s now reunited with my lovely uncle Pat. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
