My deepest sympathies to all of Mairéads family and loved ones. She spent her first years of life in her family's charming stone two storey house on their farm next to my grandparents farm here in Banogue on the Dingle Penninsula. Though her family left here before I was born, it is still referred to as the Brosnans house and my mother Noreen and her siblings always spoke of the family with great affection. We were blessed to have had her adorable aunt, Lizzie, married into the Kavanagh family and farm on the other side of us. Gone but definitely never forgotten. Leaba I measc na Naomh go raibh aice.

Dear Donie, Deirdre & Johnnie, my sincere condolences on the passing of Mairéad. Having spent all of my summers down in Purt she was a huge part of my life and I have such fond memories of the great times I had in her company. Things were never boring when Mairéad was involved and I will remember her sense of fun and love of mischief as she minded me over the years. I will miss her as I know ye all will but cherish the times we had together. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis.
