Dear Antoine and the Collins and Duffy families, our condolences on Mairead's sad passing. Our Love and Thoughts are with you. Conor, Lauren and Florence (Weybridge).

My condolences to Antoine and all of Mairéad's children on their sad loss. I had the privilege to attend Mairéad's beautiful funeral mass in Ranelagh, where so many joined to celebrate her life. Her great lifelong friend, my mother Anne who we lost in May, was not among them, and we were devastated to hear that Mairéad followed so soon after. But they shared both their joys and their woes, and we take some comfort that each was able to help the other in recent times. Rest in peace.

Mairéad was my first cousin and always "there" for the significant events in my life, most recently our wedding in September - her thoughtful gift is a daily reminder of her warmth and generosity.

Cobhbhron O chrio ligh go.leir. i learnt this evening ag aifreann 12th October of Mairead's death. I have such fond memories of our chats while dropping.my son Peadar and Fiachra at school. Great chats walking into work, Mairead in Revenue and myself in UCD Earlsfort Terrace. Such a lovely warm person. A pleasure to have known.

So so sorry to learn of Mairéad’s passing. I was not only fortunate to benefit from Mairead’s ability and experience in the Revenue but also from her kindness and thoughtfulness. Such a beautiful lady. God will be good to her, no doubt.

Mairéad was always gentle, kind and compassionate. She will be sadly, sadly missed.

I remember Mairead as a bright intelligent little girl when she came into my uncle’s shop on the corner of Devon Park Saddened to read of her untimely passing. May she rest peacefully in her Heavenly Home reunited with her parents.

I am so very sad to hear of Mairead's passing and my deepest sympathies are with her family. I always remember her kindness to me when I stayed in Devon Park when sitting the matric in Galway so many years ago. She was always warm and engaging when we met at family events over the years and has been taken far too soon.
