Deepest sympathy to Cait Mairead and Aisling on the passing of your mother. Máirín was a wonderful neighbour and a great support to our family during our father’s illness in 1982. I remember Máirín walking from Glenageary Park to St Vincent’s hospital in the snow of that year. A measure of her dedication to her caring profession.

Your parents were great friends of my parents and very supportive of me when I came to Dublin in the late 70’s. I am sorry that I am unable to attend the funeral and express my sympathies in person.
