I have very fond memories of Maisie and the shop from my childhood. Cycling to the shop from bridge a crinn and stopping off on the way home from school too.
My thoughts are with all of her family and friends. Such a lovely lady.

Deepest condolences to the mulholamd family. My father Oliver Morton delivered bread and papers to the shop for years and every Saturday evening he would buy ice cream and sweets as a treat.
He always had a lovely chat with Maisie. May she rest in peace.

Deepest sympathies to all Maisies family on her passing. Spent many a lunchtime sitting on the windowsill outside the shop nearly 40 years ago. Lovely friendly woman and remember her with great fondness.

Maisie was a huge part of our life,from children into adulthood.
Her patience and kindness was second to none and this was often reflected as we took forever to choose our sweets and more times than often changed our minds,how Maisie and Pats dinner was never burnt, il never know,
I can still see the sweets in the class cabinet and jars.
I dont ever remember Maisie not smiling,she always made time for a chat, and always took interest in what you were doing no matter what age you were.
Maisie was simply one of lifes treasures, a lady, a Neighbour a good Friend and someone who will stay in our memories forever.RIP Maisie.x

I have very fond memories of visiting Maisie and Pat in the shop with my Granny to buy sweets. She was always welcoming and friendly and had plenty of patience as I made my deliberations over what to buy. I can still see the shop and her beind the counter in my minds eye.
