Majella was such a beautiful friendly lady, I remember her from school and in GUH. She was always smiling and kind. My sincere condolences to all of the Grier and Cahill families. Thinking of you all x

Brendan, Grace and David (and the two families) I'm so very sorry for your loss. She spoke of you all, all the time. You were never far from her thoughts. She was a kind, generous, funny and intelligent friend. We had some funny chats in the Summer of 2025. I will never forget her. She will be my compass one day at a time. She is at peace now with her Dad, Please God.

I was lucky to meet Majella on my first day in GUH and from there a very close bond was formed. We enjoyed an amazing friendship that spread over many years. We work hard and enjoyed all the celebrations life sent our way. She had an unforgettable smile a whitty sense of humour and was great fun to be around. I will miss my friend but my life was enriched by having Majella as a friend for so long. Rest in peace.xx

Today we said goodbye to someone who was more than a friend, she was family. We nursed together, shared a home and Majella stood next to me on my wedding day. I am heartbroken beyond words. Thank you for every laugh, every nursing shift survived and every memory.
