To my eternal regret I only met you twice Malcolm. Then as a young man I saw a huge spark and zest for life in you. God Bless your memory and your family.
Jacinta, I am heartbroken for you, your mam n dad, Daniel, granny and Ben.....the people Malcom adored. He was so proud of you on your wedding day to Dave. I thought I would surely meet you one day. I heard the news late last night that my friend is gone and I am beyond sad, I loved your brother.

Mr. & Mrs. Rooney, brother Daniel and Jacinta. I was very sad to hear about Malcom's sudden passing. I did the HR degree with Malcom back in NCI and remember him fondly as a funny, kind, gentle and genuine person. We shared many a laugh together and I can't even begin to imagine how much you must all miss him. I'm sorry I can't be there to say a final farewell, but you are all in my thoughts as is Malcom.

This is a poem which I love and I think of it when I miss any of my loved ones who have passed away. I hope it brings you a tiny sliver of comfort during this very sad time.

Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
Malcolm truly a lovely sincere guy will be missed at lifering
May Malcom rest in peace

You are all in my thoughts and prayers
