Sadly, I never met Margaret in person, but it's clear to see from all these wonderful tributes to her that she was a very special person...for so many different reasons and to so many different people.
I send you my heartfelt and deepest sympathy for your unbearable loss and pray that Margaret's gentle soul may now rest in peace.
Remember...wherever a beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of beautiful memories. Treasure them forever💕

She was such a wonderful volunteer and my family benefitted so much from her years as a scout leader. She treated both young and old with kindness, friendliness and enthusiasm and brought great fun to every activity. Margaret is a huge loss to the community of Portmarnock. I'll miss seeing her smiling face in the area.

We have such great memories of our times together mostly when you visited at the weekends here in Petaluma.You were like an aunt and uncle to our kids. She was always so kind and welcoming to me I was also so grateful if I met her going about my day as she would always brighten it just to have a quick chat with her. I met Margaret during her illness, and I was struck by her resilience, strength, and incredible positivity. No matter what she was facing with her health, she maintained an upbeat outlook. Although I only knew her for a short time, I feel honoured to have met her.

Margaret spoke often and lovingly of her children, Cillian and Siobhan. She had been looking forward with great joy to Siobhan’s wedding, and I know how delighted she would have been to be able to attend the wedding service, recently held at Beaumont Hospital, for Siobhan and her husband.

My thoughts are with all of Margaret’s family, her loved ones, and all those who loved her, during this very sad and difficult time.

Margaret was such a lovely person always in great form.We send our heartfelt condolences to all her family at this very sad time 💔
