My fondest memories of Aunt Margaret were her smile and her gentle ways. As a registered nurse / midwife, I am very proud that I have the opportunity to carry on the legacy that the nurses in the Keane family (Aunt Margaret, Aunt Brigid, including my mother Teresa) left me with. Every interview or a meet / greet with new staff, I always include all of them in my background. Today is the feast day of the Immaculate Conception. I had an opportunity to attend Mass in my hospital and say a special prayer for Aunt Margaret.
