Ruth, I am so deeply sorry for the loss of your dear mum, Cis. Thinking of you, Ned, Joan, Bernie, Pauline, Gwen and Niall at this heartbreaking time, and remembering Shay with you also. Your mum’s kindness and love clearly live on through her family. May her gentle soul rest in peace, and may you all find comfort in the memories you shared together.

Ned & Cis were at our wedding 52 years ago. Cis was an exceptional nice, decent, respectable lady.
I served with Cis 50 years ago in the local Fianna Fail Cumann, along with Sean Walsh T.D. (RIP), Jim Daly (RIP), & Pat Masterson (RIP) & Cis in particular was always engaged in local politics.
Both Ned & Cis when they had the local shop were very good to our family, particularly my mother who was never left short for supplies, something we shall never forget.
To all the Fitzsimons Family, May Cis now be so happy in her due reward, and rest in eternal peace

Very sorry to hear about mrs fitzsimons it must have being very sudden
She was a decent woman for the brittas people eat bread will never forgotten
She was a big cog in the wheel when i was looking for planning permission her and her great firend the late sean walsh worked very hard for me and many others
Also she was a decent woman when she had the shop in sixties n seventies too us and a lot of brittas people may lord rest her and thank you cis for everything
