Truly shocked and saddened to learn of Margaret’s passing. My sincere sympathy and condolences to all her family and friends. Margaret was a hugely capable and inspirational person, it was a privilege to have known her. I will never forget her dogged determination and dedication to compiling what will surely be her forever legacy “From the Nanny to the Boyne”, the area where she gave herself unselfishly to many organisations and the community from which she will be sorely missed. I came to know Margaret through her friendship with my mum, Geri. She was a wonderful friend to my mum, and it was always a fun day when Margaret would visit. Margaret always had a story to tell. We are blessed that Margaret wrote the book "from the Nanny to the Boyne" providing us all with a photo journal in to the rich heritage of our local area. I will miss Margaret and the joy and laughter that she brought to people. She will be remembered as a great friend to Sonairte and those who were lucky to have know her.

I was saddened and shocked to hear the terribly sad news of the death of my long time friend Margaret. She was a fabulous force of nature. I will miss her.
