Very sad news indeed, the passing of a wonderful lady. The lovely photograph provokes many happy memories of visiting everyone in Eden Hill in Sligo in the 50s and 60s

We think in particular of her brothers Frank and Alfred with whom we were in Bandon Grammar School in the 1950's.
Norman's sister Doris also joins us in sending her sympathy, she was in the same class as Margaret.

We are saddened to hear of Margaret's passing. My mother Maura was a Girl Guide captain with Margaret, although in a different company . They had some good times on camps together, keeping us young Guides in line and later together in the Trefoil Guild for retired guiders. My mother enjoyed her company very much. I remember being sent to pick gooseberries in Eden Hill so that they could chat in peace over a cup of tea. I have fond memories of Margaret's hot chocolate on camp and not so fond memories of her watering down salad cream on one camp when we were running out! We were surprised there wasn't enough as she was always so well organised. She was strict (essential when managing 50 teenagers) but always kind and fair. May the good memories be a comfort to you.
