It is with great sadness I hear of the death of my dear aunt.
She met my Scottish mother while teaching in eastern Canada in the early 1950's. They traveled across the country and south to Mexico, two young lassies...almost unheard of at the time.
True adventurers!
I always treasure the memories of our families together, whether in Canada or Ireland.
Her drawing of birch trees in winter I will always treasure.
