Gretta has been our neighbour since we bought our house in 1988 and she was such a lovely, kind, thoughtful Lady. This will be a difficult time for all of the family, but hopefully, the happy memories you will all have from your time with her, will be of some comfort at this very sad time.

It was a privilege to know Gretta over many years. She always greeted us with a warm smile (often slipping into an infectious chuckle) and insisted on sharing her great hospitality at the most casual visit to No. 3. She was an elegant lady and had a lovely sense of style. Gretta was a devoted mother and proud grandmother who closely cherished her family and friends. To Miriam and ‘the boys’, you are in our thoughts at this very sad time and know you will find strength from all your Mum has given you.

We were so sad to learn of Gretta’s death. She was a wonderful woman and so proud of her children & grand children. We have happy memories of her company at parties over the years both here and abroad.
