I worked with Margaret around 40 years ago for six months in the kerryman. She left a ever lasting impression on me, she was a kind, courteous and helpful lady to every customer that came into the advertising department of the Kerryman. She was a lady. My sympathies to all.

I knew Margaret for many years before I joined The Kerryman.From my days of calling into the Rock Street office to chat to my late Dad Sean RIP. I was later to have Margaret the privilege of working closely with her. She was very proud to be the face of The Kerryman when entering the front counter. So many kind and thankful messages were a weekly occaccurance from people she dealt with with sincere dignity in her sensitive role. Margaret was a gentle,kind, helpful and most of all a lady. Word’s just cannot express the sadness I am feeling right now when I heard of the sad passing of Margaret. Margaret was one of the most inspiring, intelligent , thoughtful and the most caring person one could ever meet in their lifetime. A lady, gentle, so honest, loyal and respectful towards everyone. I always said to Margaret that she would have been a magnificent teacher as she always came across so calm, so fair ,spoke so eloquently and would give great advice. I cannot even begin to imagine the heartbreak that all of Margaret’s family are going through right now and I know that you all loved her so dearly. Wouldn’t life be so beautiful and happy if the world was full of people like Margaret. I will never forget you Margaret and thank you for giving me a great start in life when I first got to know you at the age of 20… May your dearest, most beautiful soul rest in peace Margaret.
