Margaret and I have been close buddies for thirty-four years when we spent six months together in the Péto Clinic in Budapest with our two mothers. It was a tough programme of intensive therapy but we endured it through thick and thin. While there, Margaret kept us all entertained , including the late Princess Diana who visited one day. Margaret even asked Diana for her outfit when she was finished with it. Since coming to Carrick ten years ago, Margaret made an impression on people with her sense of fun and built up a wide circle of friends. I'll miss you, Margaret, but I'm happy that you are re-united with your parents in Heaven. My heart goes out to Gussy, Michelle, Zoe, Rhys and Alfie

Condolences to Gussie and family on the death of Margaret. Margaret lite up everyone’s life that she passed. From the screams of excitement that would stop people in their tracks, to the hearty laugh you hear echoing through the corridors you knew when Maggie was in the building. Margaret seen the good in everyone and everyone loved margaret and anyone who knew margaret knows she left a dint in their hearts.Margaret had some quick wit and in the last few weeks she shared some stories she had a memory of an elephant some funny ones that dare not be spoken about haha. Regardless of her final weeks she kept smiling all the staff in OLOL fell in love with her too and first thing when they met me on the corridor was margaret waiting for the craic. Maggie your back now with your precious mum and dad now and I’m sure your skipping and singing away up there rest in peace now you give me some memories I’ll never will forget and indented so many of our hearts sleep tight till we meet again

I am so sad to hear of Margaret's passing. Sincere condolences to Cora, all who cared for Margaret and the girls at Steadfast house.
