Saddened and shocked to hear of Margaret’s sudden death I have great memories of working with Margaret in Ardkeen especially on night duty where we shared many stories may she now enjoy her well deserved reward in the company of those gone before her whom she loved

I will always remember Margaret with her raven hair, sparkling eyes full of devilment in her storytelling
In the formative years of the developing icu we were learning on the job and Margaret had a huge capacity to learn skills and pass on that knowledge to all who worked with her and she was generous in her commitment to help us and she brought forward the best in all with her kindness good nature and humour
The patients and their families were central in her values of caring and respect
We all knew of her love of her husband and family and how she loved her county cork of her childhood
Job well done Margaret
